Emma Watson looked effortlessly glamorous as she filmed a new commercial for Lancôme, on the same day she was announced as the new face of the make-up brand.
Watson was snapped walking along the cobbled streets under the street lights in the French capital.
The star revealed on her Twitter page yesterday that she had been signed up by Lancôme after leaving a series of cryptic messages for her followers.
She write last Friday: 'A new venture is starting - what can it be? Follow my clues and you will see...'
Then she tweeted a veiled reference to the make-up brand's logo of a rose: 'I'll pierce your skin if you hold me wrong but I'll love you forever if you pass me on.'
Another message followed hinting at the accent above the 'o' in Lancôme: 'It's a beauty house that wears a hat. French? Very, but this is no beret.'
Finally she announced: 'It starts with an L and ends with an E. I’m sure you have guessed the new face of Lancôme is me! :-).'
And this isn't the first time Emma has worked with Testino - the pair have also teamed up on shoots for Burberry and Vogue.
Lancôme president Youcef Nabi said in a statement released today: 'Thanks to her charm, romanticism and her incredible modernity, Emma Watson has become the icon of her generation.
'We are delighted by this new collaboration with Emma who brings a fresh spirit to Lancôme.'
Watson recently announced that she would be taking a break from her studies at US university Browns to focus on promoting the final Harry Potter film, Deathly Hallows: Part 2, and her various fashion projects including a collaboration with fair trade brand People Tree.
